Those almond eyes,
Painted on a tan canvas,
Looking at me,
Affectionately whispering,
“Can we be friends?”
Pleading and meowing,
Staring at my eyes,
This little kittenish one,
Covered with whiskers,
Asking with those big eyes.
Whispering and arguing,
Me in a cloudy land,
Console myself,
“No, not this time!”
