In depths of pain, she dwelled alone,
A girl besieged, her heart, a stone.
Through agonies vast, she bore the strain,
Suicidal thoughts, her constant bane.
Then came a soul, a guiding light,
Someone who made her world ignite.
Beside him, she felt weightless, free,
A floating feather, so carelessly.
His embrace, a haven so sweet,
She wished time would press ‘pause’ to meet.
Adoration bloomed, words unspun,
Yet, speechless, her feelings undone.
She yearned to express her heart’s deep swell,
But words escaped her, hard to tell.
All day she waited, hoping to find,
A way to voice what filled her mind.
Texts she read, each line, each verse,
Each word, a blessing, a universe.
She smiled as if a wondrous sign,
Each message read, a valentine.
